Cost

Total cost is $159.  This includes feedback from the instructor, university fees, instructor fees and administration costs.

Payment can be made via PayPal or credit card.

Assignment

Choose from ONE of the options below

Option One

presetnationDesign a presentation to be given by you to educators, parents or students regarding the take aways (what you learned) from the conference.

 

Option Two

blogpostComplete a 500 word or more blog post reflecting on your learning experiences at the event. With your permission, we may post your reflection on the 21cli blogging platform.

  • Suggested discussion topics:
    • What you expected to learn versus what you learned
    • Assumptions, thoughts or ideas you found challenged or changed
    • Assumptions, thoughts or ideas you found confirmed
    • Discuss any connections you made with individuals or organizations
    • The first thing you want to improve, change or enhance in your own organization or personal teaching practice
    • Include multiple images from the event (taken by you or someone else) that add to your written piece

 

 

Option Three

brochureDevelop a “How to Successfully Attend a Conference” brochure or other piece of writing that can easily be shared with others attending the same or similar conference in the future. With your permission, we may post your work on the 21cli blogging platform.

  • Suggested topics
    • Having a purpose/goal for attendance
    • The power of building or adding to a personal learning network at the conference
    • Picking the right workshops for your needs

 

Option Four

videoComplete a 3-5 minute audio or video reflection of your experience at the conference. With your permission, we may share your work with the 21clRadio.com community.

  • Suggested discussion topics (same as above):
    • What you expected to learn versus what you learned
    • Assumptions, thoughts or ideas you found challenged or changed
    • Assumptions, thoughts or ideas you found confirmed
    • Discuss any connections you made with individuals or organizations
    • The first thing you want to improve, change or enhance in your own organization or personal teaching practice

Option Five

interviewInterview one or more conference attendees during, before or after the event. Feel free to use the same discussion topics above.

  • Share your findings via one of the following
    • 500 or more word blog post
    • Audio recording
    • Video recording
    • Or any combination of all three
  • Include a personal reflection on what you learned after conducting the interviews.
